Locum Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or PA-C CVICU

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to provide locum Cardiovascular Critical Care coverage at hospitals in Atlanta.

About your experience: ACNP or PA-C with at least 2 years of CVICU experience and be able to function at a high level of independence. DEA, Active/current Georgia license, BLS, ACLS

Why this Assignment:

• Dates: 9/1/2026 - 12/31/2026
• Schedule: 7p-8a Nights, weekends, no call and potential for some day shifts
• 650 bed hospital - Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit/CVICU
• Patient Volume: 10-15 per day
• All types of cardiovascular medicine - STEMI, Heart Failure, transplants, ECMO, LVAD
• Procedures: Central Lines, Intubations, ECMO, LVAD
• EMR: Epic
• Team: Physicians 1 in unit during the day / 1 MD on call overnight, 4 APPs will be onsite at night
• Paid travel & lodging
