Litigation Paralegal

Our litigation law firm client has a need for a Paralegal with three or more years of litigation experience.

Duties:

  • Organizing and managing documents and case files
  • Performing real estate records research
  • Performing legal and factual research
  • Preparing correspondence
  • Reviewing construction contracts
  • Assisting with trial preparation including the assembly of exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
  • Coordinating the collection, review and production of documents and responding to discovery requests
  • Assisting with the preparation, filing and service of pleadings
  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of affidavits and notices of commencement

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of Paralegal experience in a Litigation law firm is a MUST
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and assignments
  • Legal and records research skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of document management system (Worldox), e-discovery system (Eclipse), and time reporting system (PC Law)
  • Ability to file documents electronically with various courts in multiple states

Our client offers a salary of $55k - $65k plus excellent benefits.
