As a Litigation Legal Assistant you will be an essential part of our litigation team, providing critical support in all stages of litigation, from pre-trial preparation to post-trial activities. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, and court officials to manage case files, assist with legal research, and ensure all documents and deadlines are met. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with preparing and filing litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and subpoenas.

  • Draft correspondence, legal documents, and affidavits as needed.

  • Organize and maintain case files, including managing document discovery and evidence.

  • Assist with legal research on case law, statutes, and legal precedents.

  • Prepare and track filings with courts, including e-filing and hard-copy submissions.

  • Coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses for case preparation and deposition scheduling.

  • Manage trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing binders, and coordinating trial logistics.

  • Communicate regularly with clients and provide status updates on case progress.

  • Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling hearings, meetings, and maintaining attorney calendars.

  • Ensure that all deadlines are met and documents are filed in accordance with court rules.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, ideally within a litigation-focused environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, and legal terminology.

  • Strong proficiency in document management, legal research tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of e-filing systems and case management software is preferred.

  • Paralegal certification or relevant legal training is preferred but not required.
