Salary: $58,000 - $68,000 (based on experience)

Position Summary
The firm is seeking a Litigation Law Clerk to join its growing team. The successful candidate will support lawyers on a broad range of litigation matters, including civil, commercial, and estates litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Drafting litigation documents

Assembling motion records, affidavits, and other court materials

Arranging for service of documents

Court filings
-
Opening and maintaining files, and preparing documents using ACL (Automated Civil Litigation) software

Completing litigation checklists for each file

Coordinating Bring Forwards (BFs)

Preparing and requesting retainer payments
-
Ensuring retainer agreements are sent and properly executed
Qualifications & Experience
-
3–5 years of experience as a Litigation Law Clerk or Legal Assistant

Strong working knowledge of the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure

Proficiency with ACL Automated Civil Litigation software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with lawyers, clients, staff, and external stakeholders

Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities, with minimal supervision

Professional, responsive, and positive attitude

Ability to maintain filing systems and basic databases
-
Strong attention to detail and meticulous records management skills
