Job Summary: Assists all clinic physicians and nurses in the care of patients per organizational and departmental procedures and under the direction of the Supervising Physician or Nurse Supervisor.

Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of nursing care for patients at the clinic
- Welcome patients professionally with all necessary forms and escort them to the appropriate room.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs, review medications and drug allergies, confirm preferred pharmacy, and inform physician when patient is ready to be seen.
- E-scribe presriptions to pharmacy and complete prior authorizations.
- Ensure patient rooms are organized and disinfected and document per OSHA guidelines.
- Administer injections and vaccines. Ensure all medications are administered correctly and monitor patient's response. Notify Physician or Physician Nurse if patient has adverse reaction and document follow up as required.
- Prepare sharps containers for safe disposal.
- Update OSHA and CPR training on a regular basis.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, immunotherapy, and/or treatment plans.
- Obtain requested lab specimens using correct procedure and equipment while maintaining patient safety.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and training as necessary.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Current licensure or certification with the state.
- Certification of graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR programs for healthcare providers.
- OHSA and HIPAA training.
- Excellent communication, observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at satellite clinics as needed.
- Ability to maintain flexibility as patient needs change.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times per HIPAA standards.
