Leasing Consultant

What You’ll Do
- Conduct tours with prospective residents and showcase available apartment homes
- Assist in preparing and executing lease agreements in accordance with company policies
- Process rental applications, including credit checks and background screenings
- Collect application fees, deposits, and rental payments as needed
- Follow up with prospective residents to support leasing and occupancy goals
- Build strong relationships with current and future residents
- Provide responsive and professional customer service to residents and prospects
- Communicate updates related to leases, policies, and community information
- Assist with work orders and coordinate resident maintenance requests
- Monitor community amenities and ensure they are well maintained and properly used
- Support overall property operations and assist with additional duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years leasing experience in a multifamily or apartment community
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of the apartment industry preferred
