We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join our Building Design team in Conyers. As a pivotal member of our engineering department, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and high-quality structural designs for a diverse array of building projects. Salary: DOE per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the structural design of various building projects from conception through completion.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure design specifications and standards are met.
• Utilize state-of-the-art software such as Revit, Bentley (RAM) products, RISA, EnerCalc, and Adapt to develop models and structural analyses.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on complex engineering issues.
• Ensure all projects comply with regulatory and safety standards.
• Participate in project meetings and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to continually enhance workflow and design quality.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; MS degree preferred.
• Active Professional Engineer or Structural Engineering license, possibly in multiple states.
• Extensive experience in building design and structural engineering.
• Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with other industry-standard software.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and building codes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over 10 years of experience in building design and structural analysis.
• Previous leadership or project management experience in a structural engineering context.
• Experience working on LEED-certified projects and other sustainable building practices.
• Professional registration in additional states.
