PROPRIUS is working with a Detroit, MI based company to add a Lead Data Scientist to their growing team. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded AI solutions based company with some of the industries top experts.

The Role:

As the Lead Sr. Data Scientist, you will manage a team of data analytics professionals while honing your skill sets by implementing complex algorithms. Driving projects, building prototypes, and being awesome is just one of the many things you will do day-to-day.

Specific responsibilities include:

-Provide mentoring and coaching to members of the Data Analytics team

-Collaborate with experts both internal and external to plan product development, execute targets and deliver on set milestones

-You will work with large and complex datasets from different types of vehicle information systems. -Perform research, analysis, and modeling on large sets of data

-Participate in cross functional analytics product teams and directly engage with customers to orchestrate solutions

-Investigate and integrate analytic technology and new data sources to keep their analytics solutions current in the fast-evolving analytics market space

The Candidate:

To be considered for the Lead Sr. Data Scientist role, you ideally will possess direct experience building, deploying, and supporting large scale analytics solutions and have at least 3 years management experience.

In addition, it’s essential that you possess the following:

-8+ years of expertise and experience with statistical data analysis, linear models, deep learning and Bayesian inference.

-Bachelor’s degree computer science/statistics or related field (or equivalent experience)"

-Experience using SQL and Python, R, or MATLAB to analyze large datasets

-Experience using mathematical techniques to meet cybersecurity goals
