We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in the Cleveland, OH area.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of scalable applications and services
- Own platform architecture decisions and technical direction
- Mentor engineers and foster a high-performance development culture
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and business teams
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and system reliability
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and tools
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years in a lead or senior technical role
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proficiency in modern backend technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js, etc.)
- Experience with microservices, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
