Our client proudly serves Mill Valley, CA. Mill Valley gives you plenty of access to outdoor activities to take in the beautiful scenery. Practice Overview

Our client started this orthopedic specialty practice with a vision of providing top-of-the-line care with minimally invasive treatments and diagnosis, and they’re doing just that. Today, they have board-certified specialists offering Orthopedic, Soft Tissue Surgery, and Rehabilitation. They offer 2 spacious surgical suites, multiple exam rooms, a CT scanner, in-house diagnostics, and a designated area for rehabilitation. Their mindset of giving compassionate care with an emphasis on client education and follow-up care is the backbone of their practice values. Team collaboration and education are critical parts of the day-to-day, which means constant communication with everyone involved to ensure a smooth flow of the day and proper treatments for patients. What You’ll Be Working On

Technical veterinary technician duties
Working directly with board-certified doctors (Surgeons, an Anesthesiologist, and a Rehabilitation Specialist)
Assisting doctors with patient care exams, treatments, and surgeries
Engaging, communicating, and educating clients on patient care
Leading a team of educated and qualified technicians
Ensure quality metrics for patient care are met according to practice goals
Proactively identify areas of improvement to ensure quality of care
Train all levels of competency on the team
Drive and maintain a positive working environment
Grow your skills with training, mentorship, and continuing education

Qualifications

Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of California
5+ years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician
Veterinary specialty or advanced surgical experience required
VTS certification is a bonus
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with anesthetic monitoring
A minimum of two years of proven experience in a supervisory role
Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
Must enjoy teaching and training
