Lead Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
Repair and maintain production equipment and systems.
Repair and maintain mobile equipment, including lift trucks, skid steer tractors and excavators.
Repair and maintain facilities and equipment.
Lead other maintenance personnel, insuring equipment reliability and PM schedules to minimize downtime / lost productivity.
Supervise contractors.
Assist with Installing, modifying, and continual improvement of equipment and production lines needed to meet safety and production goals.

Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing industry, or a mix of training and experience.
Strong safety culture and ability to look after others is required.
Extensive experience with PLC controlled equipment.
Extensive experience with installation, maintenance, and programming of VFD controlled motors.
Extensive experience with 3 phase power and control circuits.
Extensive experience with pneumatic systems.
Extensive experience with hydraulic systems.
Advanced ability to trouble shoot mechanical and electrical systems.
Must have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to production needs and problems.
Ability to operate and understand industrial machinery and technical equipment required.
Experience with welding and fabrication.
Experience with material conveyors, belt, screw, and vibratory transfer systems.
Experience with bag house and dust collection systems a plus.

Ability to work first shift 7am-3pm as the primary hours.
