A fast‑growing SaaS company is seeking an experienced Director of FP&A for a 6‑month contract engagement. This senior role partners across Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, and G&A to lead forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate brings deep SaaS expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence executive decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and monthly re‑forecasts
• Build and maintain financial models for long‑range planning, scenarios, headcount, and OPEX
• Develop scalable forecasting tools and improve visibility into revenue, expenses, and cash flow
• Consolidate financial inputs across teams and deliver monthly/quarterly reporting with insights
• Analyze SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, gross margin, cohorts)
• Prepare materials for executive and board presentations
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to align budgets with strategic priorities
• Support pricing, GTM modeling, customer ROI, and capital allocation
• Enhance FP&A processes, reporting frameworks, and planning systems
Qualifications
• 7+ years FP&A/finance experience, including 3+ years in SaaS/tech
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling expertise
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills; experience with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP
• Familiarity with planning tools (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan)
• Excellent communication skills with executive‑level presentation ability
• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting required; MBA/CPA preferred
