The Lawson Financial Sr. Analyst will provide application management and functional support for Lawson Financials modules including General Ledger (G/L), Accounts Payable (AP), Infor Expense Management (XM), Budgeting and Planning (FB), Process Flow and all other complimentary Infor (Lawson) modules in use by the Finance department. Assist in the migration to Infor CloudSuite. Manage system access and security, develop and enforce system controls, and assist in system audit requests. Maintain relationship and act as liaison with application vendor support, (Infor Managed Services), and internal IT staff. Provide end user training. EXCELLENT benefits.

Job Duties/Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Oversee all entries into the General Ledger to ensure accuracy and timeliness of entries.
  • Responsible for system balancing, system module closing schedule, and account reconciliation items.
  • Develop and maintain Process Flows (IPA).
  • Ensure accuracy of data generated from the General Ledger.
  • Provide data and reporting assistance for Annual and Quarterly Statements process and all other regulatory reporting.
  • Provide system support, maintenance, and problem resolution for the Finance Department’s General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Book, Infor Expense Management (XM) and Budget modules within the Infor (Lawson) application.
  • Develop reports by building and maintaining expertise in database content and with system tools.
  • Provide end user training and support for Lawson Financials and Infor Expense Management (XM).
  • Acts as primary liaison between Ullico and Infor (Lawson), training resources, implementation resources, Lawson Application Hosting services, and in-house IT department.
  • Manage all system interfaces between other systems and Lawson Financials and act as business systems consultant for extending Lawson Financials system framework to other areas of Ullico to support process improvement initiatives.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably in insurance or financial services to include 5 years with Infor (Lawson) Financials; 3-5 years of professional level accounting.
  • Experience with Infor CloudSuite and migration to CloudSuite from earlier versions of Infor (Lawson) applications.
  • Hands-on experience with system implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, configure, and optimize financial systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to partner across Finance, IT and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with Power BI tools.
