Land Asset Manager
Our client is a distinguished portfolio company known for its diverse business ventures. They are currently seeking a Land Asset Manager to join their team. In this role, you will take charge of land assets and work collaboratively with various departments while ensuring adherence to operational policies and procedures.
As the Land Asset Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of multiple properties, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. This role requires a skilled problem-solver with expertise in both project and people management, positioned to make a significant impact within the company.

Focus:
- Collaborate with senior managers and cross-functional teams to ensure effective land asset management.
- Work closely with environmental groups and operations teams across multiple departments.
- Manage lease agreements for construction and aggregate properties, including yearly oversight and involvement in property purchases and leases.
- Handle annual tasks such as reviewing tax bills, managing land use permits, and using the ENCOM land management program for document management.
- Occasionally participate in acquisitions, conducting assessments when acquiring new companies.
Skill Set:
- 5+ years of property management or real estate experience required.
- Forestry or county land use experience a strong plus, especially in timberland management related to aggregate properties.
- Preferred education in a related field (Bachelor's or Associate degree), or equivalent property management work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal abilities for effective team and external collaboration.
- Proven adherence to operational policies, procedures, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Well versed in tax assessments, appraisals, farm leases, aggregate leases, real estate transactions, and other related real estate topics.
- Ability to conduct internal property valuations and generate comprehensive ownership reports.
- Oversight responsibilities for buildings and facilities managers.
