Laborer

Laborer - $18.91/hour
Phoenix, AZ

The State of Arizona is looking for a Laborer. This is a full-time, 40 hour/ week position. Shifts are 8 hours from 6:00am-2:30pm.

Responsibilities

General cleaning in the shop, all yard maintenance including painting, sweeping and extracting weed, picking up and emptying trash and debris, etc. Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc. Perform complex upkeep. Check and sign off fire extinguishers and other safety systems. Trimming bushes, small trees, and shrubs. Planting seasonal flowers and shrubs. Operating the irrigation equipment. Raking leaves and sweeping walkways. Organize complex parking lot by performing yard checks. Remove weeds from platers, groom plates in planters, remove trash around parking lots, remove weeds going around facility, empty trash cans, sweeping, Other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Ability to perform duties, frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling. 1 year Landscape, general laborer, and/or Janitorial experience. Forklift experience preferred.
