Location: On-site near Coldwater, MI

We’re looking for a detail-driven, hands-on Laboratory Manager who wants to grow into a leadership role over time. This opportunity sits within a fast-growing, family-run genetics operation that has scaled rapidly while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and precision.

You’ll be critical part of a close-knit team where your work directly impacts production, customers, and the continued growth of the business. Responsibilities

  • All processes involved with semen extension, packaging, cryopreservation and quality control
  • Execute quality control procedures with a high level of accuracy and consistency
  • Document, report, and track production data and lab activities
  • Follow and help improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Collaborate with lab staff and collection teams (English & Spanish-speaking teams)
  • Communicate with customers regarding reports and results
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness within the lab environment
  • Participate in training and, over time, assist in training new team members

Experience & Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Animal Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred
  • Lab, manufacturing, or animal science experience is a plus, but not required
  • Exposure to agriculture, livestock, FFA, or 4-H is helpful
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
