About the Hospital and Department:

• 200+ bed not for profit community hospital that has served its community for over 50 years
• Performs over 1200 annual deliveries
• The Manager will lead a team of ~40 FTE's across Labor and Delivery
• Reports to a dynamic Director of Women's Services
• Well supported by a team of experienced Charge RN's

About the Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager Position:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the day to day operations of a growing, well-loved Women's and Infants Department that performs over 1200 annual deliveries. We are seeking an inspirational, servant leader with a strong level of clinical labor and delivery knowledge who can promote an atmosphere of trust and safety, mentor and lead a team, utilize evidence based practice, and identify best practices that ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the community's newest moms and babies.

Qualifications & Requirements for Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager

• BSN required
• RN Active License
• Must have at least five (5) years of general Labor and Delivery clinical nursing experience
• Minimum two (2) years of progressive nursing leadership experience
• INSPIRATIONAL and COLLABORATIVE leadership style
• Able to foster positive relationships across all levels
