Salary: $265,000.00 - $310,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defend employers in complex litigation matters including wage and hour class actions.
- Draft and prepare key legal documents such as employment agreements, severance agreements, and workplace policies.
- Provide counsel to clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Represent clients in key legal proceedings such as depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparations.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys on significant employment cases and transactional matters.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- License to practice law in Georgia (Bar Admission).
- 4–6 years experience in employment-related litigation and/or class action litigation.
- Background in defending wage and hour, employment discrimination, and EEOC/DOL claims, including class action lawsuits.
- Experience in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and handling employment issues.
- Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with trial and courtroom proceedings.
- Proven track record in handling high-stakes employment class actions.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong client relations skills and experience in business development.
- Leadership experience or potential, willingness to mentor junior associates.
