Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

Salary: $225,000.00 - $295,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation including discrimination claims, wage, and hour class actions, and engagements with administrative agencies.
  • Draft and review employment documentation such as contracts, severance agreements, workplace policies, and employee handbooks.
  • Provide compliance advisement on federal and state employment laws and conduct wage and hour audits.
  • Support clients with employment training programs and navigate traditional labor law issues.
  • Offer strategic and practical advice on complex employment law issues, fostering long-term client relationships.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Admission to the New York Bar.
  • 2–5 years of experience in employment-related litigation and transactional employment work.
  • Proven track record handling wage and hour class actions, discrimination cases, and contract disputes across both federal and state courts.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional Bar admissions in NJ, PA, or CT are considered an asset.
  • Experience in traditional labor laws and employment-related training and audits.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently and effectively.
