Lab/Radiology Tech

Near Fargo, ND/Minnesota

Our client is a 300 bed hospital system serving both North Dakota and Minnesota and is a proud member of the Mayo Care Network, giving it special access to the strength and resources of that health system.

They have an immediate opening for a Lab/Radiology Tech for one of their top outpatient facilities.

The Lab/Radiology Tech educates patients on the radiology and/or laboratory procedure and process. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation sufficient to operate, maintain and perform laboratory and X-ray procedures and ensures patients feel comfortable and safe. The Lab/ Radiology Tech performs laboratory and radiographic procedures and monitors the patients to provide individualized patient care. Recognizes and investigates problems and engages in courteous communication that supports business operations and performs the essential job functions of the position.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Clinical Lab Science.
• Credentialed or certified as Medical Lab Technician (MLT) through the American Society of Clinical Pathology or through National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) upon start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescue within two months of start date.
• Limited scope X-ray operator through Minnesota State Department of Health within three months of start date.

Preferred:

• Associates degree in Radiological Technology (in addition to Lab Credentialing or Certification; minimum of six months related experience).
