Candidate will be responsible for the infrastructure of an appliance test laboratory. As such, the candidate will be familiar with the equipment and operation of ambient test chambers, data acquisition systems and test rigs to perform safety, energy and reliability testing and will be knowledgeable in agency testing and laboratory calibration and certification procedures.

Duties:
- Maintain the operation of ambient test chambers to perform within the temperature and accuracy requirements as outlined in test procedures and certification requirements through equipment maintenance programs and upgrades.
- Maintain the operation of the data acquisition system to perform within the accuracy requirements of test procedures and certification requirements and recommend upgrades.
- Design and specify test automation equipment and computer programs and direct their procurement, installation and verification.
- Maintain calibration records to support annual certifications.
