The Laboratory Director is responsible for the effective operation and oversight of the Laboratory Services.As a member of the UPH-Meriter operations team, the Laboratory Director will lead the assigned service line and the team’s commitment to quality, service, growth, safety, standardization, integration, and fiscal accountability as a singular unit, with system services (UPH), and as a partner within the system of care with the UW Health.He/she will be a liaison for the service line amongst all health care providers, partners and clients of the laboratory.The Laboratory Director will promote an environment which encourages staff to develop new skills to advance the service line as well as themselves, and provides an environment that promotes trust and decision-making at the staff level.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS Degree in a health science
5 years of demonstrated effective leadership experience involving increasing levels of management responsibility
