The Director of the Lab will manage the laboratory consistent with the philosophy, policies, procedures, goals, and budget of the department and hospital. The Lab Director will oversee the recruitment, orientation, training and on the job performance of department personnel; prepares annual budget and manages the department consistent with approved budgetary goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology Required.
  • Masters Degree in Management, Medical Technology or Administration.
  • Preferred 2+ years experience as a Laboratory Administrator, Director or Manager.
  • Registered Medical Technologist, ASCP or equivalent.
