Lab Director - CLOSED
A 336-bed hospital, as part of a larger health system, has an immediate opportunity for a Lab Director. The Director shall supervise the activities and operation of the Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology(including urinalysis and coagulation), Diagnostic Serology, Microbial, Histology and Central Processing areas. The Director will act as a liaison with the laboratory and other agencies and departments within the hospital.
The appropriate candidate will have a bachelor's degree and successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Technologist program. Must have at least five years of overall laboratory experience, two of which are in a leadership capacity. Knowledge of CAP, CLIA and Joint Commission is also required.
