LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse - Nights - 3/12s - $5,000 sign on bonus

A Critical Access Hospital in Northern California is launching a brand-new Skilled Nursing Facility, and they’re actively building out the team. This is a chance to get in at the ground level — high visibility, real input, and the ability to help shape a new program.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) delivers technical nursing care to Residents using the nursing process, functioning as a member of the nursing team under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LVN may assume charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Qualifications:

Experience:
  • At least one (1) year experience as LVN

Education:

  • Current California LVN license.
  • Graduate from an approved LVN program with an associates or equivalent degree.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to apply good clinical judgment, plan work, establish priorities and maintain flexibility.
  • Proficient written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to use a computer proficiently.


Responsibilities:
  • Organizes and directs shift responsibilities and duties
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.
  • Prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physicians.
  • Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for your shift.
  • Review medications and completeness of information.
