LTL Billing Specialist

Position Summary:

This role leads different facets of the company’s billing operations, overseeing accurate invoicing, cash application, collections, and carrier payments. A key priority is managing the complexities of LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) billing, including auditing weight/class changes, verifying accessorials, and resolving discrepancies. Working with internal teams and external partners, you will ensure timely billing cycles, proper documentation, and optimized financial workflows to support company growth.

Qualifications, Experience, and Education:

  • 4+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or related
    finance/accounting roles, with at least 2+ years of specific LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) experience.
  • Experience working in a freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review financial documents, identify
    discrepancies, and resolve issues independently.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems, TMS platforms, and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to
    manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
