Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Experienced Professionals Wanted

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Accurately document patient conditions, treatments, and care plans

  • Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to appropriate personnel

  • Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with physician orders

  • Participate in care planning and contribute to ongoing assessments

  • Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff across all shifts, including weekends

  • Support and follow up on documentation compliance and collaborate with administrators on documentation quality and improvement

Skills & Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing or pending licensure through the State Board of Nursing

  • Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program

  • Current BLS/CPR certification (required for skilled nursing settings or as mandated by the state)

  • Strong documentation and assessment skills

  • Effective communication, leadership, and attention to detail

  • Experience with New Mexico Medicaid HNF preferred but not required
