Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)

Accurately document patient conditions, treatments, and care plans

Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to appropriate personnel

Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with physician orders

Participate in care planning and contribute to ongoing assessments

Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff across all shifts, including weekends
-
Support and follow up on documentation compliance and collaborate with administrators on documentation quality and improvement
Skills & Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing or pending licensure through the State Board of Nursing

Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program

Current BLS/CPR certification (required for skilled nursing settings or as mandated by the state)

Strong documentation and assessment skills

Effective communication, leadership, and attention to detail

Experience with New Mexico Medicaid HNF preferred but not required
