This position is critical in our efforts to provide specialized healthcare services across a diverse system that includes a major hospital, specialized surgery centers, and numerous outpatient facilities.
Salary: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care based on the individual plan of care under the supervision of an RN.
- Accurately record patient measurements and health observations.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient response.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff.
- Participate in continual education to stay informed of current practices and advancements in healthcare.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting.
- Must possess a current Ohio LPN license; IV certification required for bedside positions.
- Current CPR certification or ability to achieve certification within 30 days of employment.
- Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge in medication administration.
- Strong clinical skills and familiarity with healthcare technology systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a hospital and various clinical settings preferred.
- Certifications in specialized care areas.
