Key Account Sales Specialist

What you will be doing:

  • Key Account Rep focus - leveraging current industry relationships and previous sales history.
  • Cold calling, prospecting and new business development focus.
  • Providing world-class products, and product support to swine producers across the Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky regions.
  • Sales and tech-sales support relationships with top industry leading production systems.
  • Problem solving, win-win solutions, driven philosophy of doing business, that leads to you becoming an integral part of the decision making, management group for large customers.

A successful candidate for this Key Account Manager will possess the following:

The ideal candidate would possess 5+ years of swine sales experience and knowledge in the area of animal health, nutrition, production supplies and/or genetics and a strong industry database of relationships. This position will be responsible for maintaining and increasing sales volume with established accounts and aggressively seeking new large swine customers. We need a very outgoing, hard working person who has top-notch communication skills and a strong background in the swine production industry. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or Masters degree in animal science and extensive swine experience. You must be willing to be on the road at least 2 nights per week.

Compensation: This position offers a solid base salary. This is a highly commissioned structure with a base of established business. For the right person, the company might consider a 1-2 year guarantee on bonuses.

Desired Location: Ideally, the Key Account Manager will be located in Indiana or Ohio.
