Junior Patent Litigation Associate

Salary: $235,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex patent litigation matters across various districts.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft motion, briefs, and other pivotal litigation documents.
  • Manage all phases of the discovery process, including taking depositions, handling document reviews, and preparing expert witnesses.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
  • Handle case management duties, ensuring compliance with all deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Engage regularly with clients to provide updates and strategic advice.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic background.
  • Bar Admission in Georgia is required.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in sophisticated and complex litigation.
  • Proven track record of defending patent litigation cases.
  • Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Prior experience in a large firm or specialized IP boutique setting.
  • Skills in multiple areas of patent law including non-infringement and invalidity analyses.
  • Admission to practice before the USPTO.
  • Experience in technology-related litigation.
