Junior Patent Litigation Associate - Silicon Valley

Salary: $235,000-$260,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the defense in complex patent litigation matters across various industries.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and craft high-quality, persuasive motions, briefs, and other critical litigation documents.
  • Engage actively in all phases of the discovery process, including conducting depositions, managing document reviews, and preparing expert witnesses.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of skilled attorneys to develop strategic approaches tailored to each case, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Handle case management duties diligently, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and procedural guidelines to uphold client interests.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from a renowned top-tier law school coupled with a strong academic track record.
  • Mandatory Bar Admission in California.
  • At least 2-3 years of substantive experience in complex litigation focused on defending patent litigation cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal setting.
  • Exceptional writing, research, and analytical capabilities necessary for effective litigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A technical degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is highly preferred.
