We are seeking a Junior-Level Associate Attorney to join our Intellectual Property Practice Group in the prestigious atmosphere of our San Francisco firm. Salary: $235,000-$260,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defend sophisticated patent litigation cases, covering all aspects from initiation to resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft comprehensive motions, briefs, and other pivotal litigation documents.
- Actively participate in discovery processes, including managing depositions, organizing document reviews, and preparing expert witnesses.
- Work collaboratively within a dynamic team to develop effective litigation strategies and enhance client outcomes.
- Handle case management duties, ensuring meticulous adherence to deadlines and procedural requirements.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a notable academic record.
- Must be admitted to the Bar in California.
- 2–3 years of experience in complex litigation, particularly in defending patent litigation cases.
- Strong foundational skills in legal writing, research, and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven track record of positive presence and advocacy in legal settings.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive to take initiative and lead in complex cases.
