Salary: $235,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex and high-profile patent litigation matters, managing all aspects of case defense.
  • Perform in-depth legal research and craft high-quality legal documents including motions and briefs.
  • Handle all phases of discovery, including but not limited to, depositions, document reviews, and preparation of expert witnesses.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to formulate and execute effective litigation strategies.
  • Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring all legal filings and tasks are completed by mandated deadlines.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Current Bar Admission in Texas.
  • 2-3 years of experience in complex litigation, specifically in patent litigation defense.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong advocacy and client service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Prior experience in a large law firm or in an intellectual property practice group.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing heavy caseloads and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Experience with patent law related to high technology sectors.
