Junior Mechanical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced junior mechanical construction project manager to join the team immediately! Job Description:

-To plan, in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager and Division Manager, assist to execute mechanical projects in accordance with Corporate Policy.

-Assist to build and maintain customer and supplier/ vendor relationships to enhance competitiveness in the industry and promote strong customer relationships.

-Prepare and submit mechanical schedules and monitor progress against established schedules.

-Prepare and submit mechanical construction project budget estimates.

-Assist to prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

-Assist in managing the implementation of quality control programs.

-Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients.

-Solicit and submit shop drawings between vendors and owners for approval.

-Material and equipment purchasing for secured jobs.

-Coordinate and assist to manage projects

-Monthly billing process

-Coordinate tools and equipment

Requirements:

- 3-4 + years of experience in the mechanical construction industry
-Experience as a tradesman may substitute for post-secondary education requirements -Valid driver’s license

-A university degree in mechanical engineering or a college diploma in construction is an asset

-Experience with Commercial and Industrial Projects
