As a Junior Electrical Engineer – Technical Recruiter, you’ll bridge the gap between technical expertise and recruitment, identifying and connecting skilled engineers with our clients. This is a unique role where your engineering knowledge and strong communication skills will make a significant impact.

Primary Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

  • Leverage our rich database of qualified candidates and collaborate with sourcing agents to build a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Use your technical background to evaluate candidates’ skills and experience.
  • Connect with candidates, build rapport, sell them on job opportunities, screen them, and present them to clients.

Sourcing Agent Management:

  • Guide sourcing agents and tailor their searches to align with client requirements and open positions.
  • Provide them with boolean search strings and other search parameters based on the requirements of the job

Client Management:

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and clients’ talent acquisition teams.
  • Obtain new job requisitions from clients
  • Attend online meetings with the hiring managers to learn about the requirements of their positions
  • Participate in business development activities as needed and earn rewards for bringing in new business.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering is a Must, preferably with a focus on Power Systems
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or related roles is a must.
  • Cold calling experience and strong phone etiquette
  • Passionate about learning! We provide training on recruitment skills and technical subjects!
  • Strong presence on LinkedIn
  • Exceptional communication and multitasking skills.
  • Time management skills with the ability to work across different time zones (supporting East and West Coast clients).
  • Competitive, results-oriented, and proactive personality with a "go-getter" attitude.
  • Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
