Salary: $225,000 - $245,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other significant corporate transactions.
- Provide strategic counsel concerning securities law and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts, agreements, and other transaction-related documents.
- Perform thorough due diligence, and research to ascertain transactional risks and opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from various practice groups to ensure comprehensive legal support is provided to clients.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Must be admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania.
- At least 2-3 years of substantial experience in corporate law, specifically with a focus on M&A transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
- Proven skills in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior exposure to securities law or dealing with emerging business matters.
- Experience in managing client relationships and project management.
