We are working with a top-tier brand in the retail sector, looking to add a dedicated talent (Jr. Financial Analyst). This Analyst will work alongside a dynamic business leader and will be supported/developed during the contract period. This position and client company is a resume builder!

Responsibilities

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for:

• Analyzing information to drive the business forward
• Analyzing inventory/product & pricing
• Prepare and post all journal entries
• Preparing financial analysis and forecasts to help with decision making
• Liaising with various business partners
• Participating in budget preparation
• Providing ad hoc analysis
• Exceptional data mining and MS Excel skills

Qualifications

• You have 1+ year in an Analyst role, you possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to build relationships between departments
• Actively pursuing a CPA is required.
• The Jr. Financial Analyst will have strong analytical skills, but also the solid business acumen to add value to the management team
• Strong Excel skills are mandatory
