Position Overview
The Junior Accountant will support the accounting department with daily financial operations, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing and payroll-related accounting activities. The role will also assist with general accounting functions, reconciliations, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Process and support bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Maintain and update employee payroll records, deductions, and benefits

Prepare payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations

Support monthly closing and financial reporting processes

Maintain accurate financial documentation and records
-
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and internal policies
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1–3 years of accounting or payroll experience preferred

Experience with payroll systems strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software
-
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to handle confidential financial and payroll information

Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
