With recent growth and team expansion, we’re recruiting for two Electricians with strong mechanical skills to join our client located in St. Charles, Illinois to keep operations running at peak performance.

If you’re someone who enjoys diagnosing complex electrical issues, working with PLCs, and being the go-to expert when a line goes down—this is your role.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our 12-person maintenance team, you’ll focus on keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently through both preventative maintenance and real-time troubleshooting.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Support general facility maintenance as needed
  • Document work, track equipment history, and assist with inventory and parts ordering
  • Work closely with engineers, maintenance leadership, and production teams
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and ISO systems

What You Bring

We’re looking for strong electrical expertise first—mechanical skills are required and can be further developed.

  • Ability to stay calm and methodical during equipment breakdowns
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA

Nice-to-have:

  • Exposure to extrusion equipment
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar maintenance systems

Work Schedule

  • Continental shift (12-hour shifts)
  • Night shift openings: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Rotating day/night shifts are also available

What You’ll Get

  • Starting wage: ~$40 - $47/hour for licensed electricians (flexible based on experience)

  • 401(k): 5% company match after 3 months
  • Tuition reimbursement program
  • PPE & vision reimbursement (after 90 days)
  • Paid time off:
    • 2 weeks vacation
    • 5 PTO days (accrued from day one)
  • Tools and equipment fully provided but you are welcome to bring your own
  • Work with modern, well-maintained equipment

Team & Leadership

You’ll report to an experienced Maintenance Manager with over a decade in the field, a strong electrical background, and a hands-on leadership style shaped by running his own business and military experience. You’ll also collaborate with engineers and a growing maintenance team that values accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Why Join Them?

  • Work in a modern facility employing roughly 120 individuals with a strong maintenance culture
  • Be part of a tight-knit but growing team
  • Gain exposure to advanced manufacturing systems and technologies
