Our client is a superb very high end 5* boutique resort with multiple F&B Outlets in Maldives.
This role will be in charge at their signature restaurant which specializes in Japanese fusion cuisine, and will be reporting directly to Executive Chef.
Due to the remoteness of the location, our client considers only single status.
Please note that this position is available for Expats only.
Profile
• Culinary school background
• Minimum 3 years experience in similar position
• Experience in a similar position in 5* hotel or in reputable free-standing restaurant
• Well experienced in different facets of Japanese Cuisine
• Able to produce high level modern plated Japanese Fusion dishes
• Good English both spoken and written
• Strong luxury foundation
• Experience with HACCP Standard
• Computer literate
• Willing to learn, eye for details
• Good leadership skills and result oriented
• Friendly with a positive attitude, enthusiastic
• Well-groomed, healthy
• Hard working and able to work efficiently under pressure
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Well organized, energetic, hands-on
• Eager to learn, motivated, flexible and able to work independently
• Flexible working hours
