Job Description

Agile IT Project Manager: Digital Retail (Contract, Remote)

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-based required, EST hours ideal, NYC area a plus)
Duration: 4-month contract
Start: Immediate

Our client, a well-known fashion retailer, is seeking a mid-level Agile Project Manager to lead IT projects supporting their digital retail business, including e-commerce and direct-to-consumer initiatives across mainline and factory outlet channels. This is a 4-month interim engagement while the company evaluates a permanent backfill.

What You'll Do

  • Manage IT projects supporting e-commerce and digital retail systems from planning through delivery
  • Run Agile ceremonies and keep cross-functional teams aligned on scope, timelines, and priorities
  • Coordinate across business and technical stakeholders in a fast-moving retail environment
  • Track progress, manage risks, and communicate status to leadership

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, with a focus on e-commerce or retail systems projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile SCRUM principles
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform (Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud) is ideal
  • Fashion or softline retail background preferred; other retail experience considered
  • Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Smartsheet
  • U.S.-based, able to work EST hours; NYC area a plus
