We are looking for an Investment Analyst to work for our Cleveland client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and other financial advisory transactions.
• Develop detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, and other valuation methods.
• Conduct industry research, competitive analysis, and market trend assessments to support transaction decisions.
• Prepare and contribute to the creation of pitch books, investment memorandums, and client presentations.
• Support senior bankers in managing client relationships and executing complex transactions.
• Perform due diligence, including financial statement analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related finance roles.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of financial markets, M&A processes, and capital markets.
• Proficiency in financial research tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or FactSet.
