As an Investment Advisor Counselor at our company, you will serve an integral role in managing client assets and forming strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and experts within our firm to deliver best-in-class service. This position entails fostering long-term relationships with clients, guiding them through portfolio strategies, market events, and ensuring their investment allocations support their financial goals dynamically.
Salary: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal portfolio decision-makers and research teams to align investment strategies with client objectives.
- Build trusted, educational relationships with clients to explain complex investment concepts and market dynamics.
- Proactively engage with clients through quarterly reviews to discuss their portfolio outcomes, ensuring alignment with their long-term financial dreams.
- Initiate and develop strategic adjustments to asset allocations based on macroeconomic shifts and personal client needs.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools to monitor portfolio performance and recommend changes where necessary.
- Stay abreast of the latest market trends and regulatory changes that could impact client investments.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in financial services, with a proven track record in portfolio management or related roles.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and wealth management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relations.
- Capable of analyzing complex financial information and making timely, strategic decisions.
- Registration with relevant financial advisory certifications (e.g., CFP or CFA) is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Finance, or similar).
- Over 5 years of advisory and portfolio management experience.
- Experience with tax strategies, estate planning and risk management.
- Proficiency in using financial planning software and CRM systems.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing client service teams.
- Active participation in industry workshops and continuous personal development.
