What you will be doing as the Inventory Control Manager:

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management within the organization.
  • Planning, organizing, and executing inventory control processes to ensure accuracy, optimize efficiency, and support operational needs.
  • Works closely with finance, regulatory, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize stock discrepancies, and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Ensuring that inventory aligns with customer demand, company goals, and compliance standards.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Analyze and track inventory trends to identify and address potential overstock or understock situations
  • Generate and maintain inventory reports, including inventory accuracy, stock levels, turnover rates, and forecast accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to inform purchasing decisions and improve forecasting and demand planning processes.

What you will need as the Inventory Control Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., APICS) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management or a related field, with a proven track record in managing inventory control operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP- Infor M3, preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)- Softeon and inventory forecasting tools, preferred
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.
