Our client, an Investment Services firm is looking for someone to assist with the re-architecture or their web content.  This is a 3-month contract with a good possibility of extension

 

  • Usability and user needs analysis
  • Conduct information gathering session with select content providers
  • Conduct user analysis session with select business users
  • Identify content gaps on the site
  • Site map
  • recommend revised organization of content sections/pages

Navigation – recommend approach that:

  • provides users with access to business unit / functional unit content
  • provides users with content relevant to their role
  • Access to projects/processes
  • Write, develop and proofread all content provided by content owners
  • Work closely with business partners to create and maintain innovative, accurate and timely content that will increase Intranet usage
  • Works with Intranet graphic designer to create copy for various Intranet design projects
  • Work with Intranet Manager and development team to assess and tracking statistics
  • Ensure that all documents meet established content standards and work with developers to assess any technical challenges in displaying the content
  • Coordinate development of new or revised content with Intranet Development team and Web Manager

REQUIREMENTS

 

Post Secondary eduation in Journalism, Publishing, English or equivalent, complemented with experience in web technology/IT.

Project management skills including planning and organizational skills.

Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation, skills.

Excellent proofreading, editing skills

Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Fluently bilingual in English and French is an asset

Experience in design and html an asset.
