Interventional Radiology Technologist

This well-equipped and forward-thinking hospital system is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures within a vascular services unit.

This Role Offers:

  • Rotating first shift with weekend and on-call requirements
  • Leadership involvement with equipment and procedural protocols
  • Opportunity to lead quality assurance (QA) initiatives and protocol development

Focus:

  • Perform vascular and interventional imaging procedures in both scrub and imaging roles.
  • Operate and manage procedure data entry through hemodynamic monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to create protocols and maintain imaging excellence.
  • Manage inventory and ensure readiness of imaging supplies and technology.
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and support data reporting for process improvement.
  • Provide emergency coverage for specialized imaging exams on a rotating on-call basis.

Skill Set:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active ARRT and Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety (IDNS) certifications.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certifications (RCIS preferred).
  • Proficient in interpreting EKGs, operating hemodynamic monitoring systems, and managing high-alert medications.
  • Must be able to respond within 30 minutes for on-call duties.
  • Capable of working under pressure during emergency and time-sensitive procedures.
  • Natural leadership in a clinical setting
  • Tech-savvy with imaging equipment and QA tools
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
  • Excited by fast-paced, patient-centered environments
