Are you an ED nurse who needs a change from ED they get to work in a cutting edge environment and make tons of money (because of the call)?. Could be 15K a year more!

Some examples of the types of cases include:

 

  • Trauma cases when there are no ICU beds post procedures.
  • We have some off hour acute cases, which require a nurse with a strong skill set.
  • We do a lot of biopsies, tube insertions, peripheral interventionals, neuro imaging and interventions along with PICC insertions.
  • We provide nursing support for other imaging modality procedures that may require beta blockers or just monitoring.
  • Strong points of Good Samaritan IR Department
  • Strong points of the IR Department: Diverse procedure mix, with great physician champions ( Cardiologists, Neuro, Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons)
  • Nursing has a key presence to partner with physicians for best plan of care on each case
  • Monthly education and meeting to ensure effective communication and professional growth.
  • This position is for Interventional Radiology.
  • Must be albe to do 45 minute response time for On-call.
    Previous IR, ED or CCU expereince preferred.
  • ACLS required. High Associate Satisfaction in this Department.
  • BSN or Associates Degree willing to get BSN.
  • 1+ yrs of relevant experience Earn 10 continuing education credits annually
    Current Illinois RN license or eligible Current CPR ACLS and PALS Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts in order to accommodate staffing
    Required to take call
