StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a Heart Institute/Hospital and local practice located in Tampa, Fl to assist them with the recruitment of another Interventional Cardiologist to join their team.

Practice Highlights / Qualifications:

• Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
• Opportunity to do Coronary, Peripheral, and/or Structural
• 2 CT Surgeons at the facility
• There is only 1 other Structural Cardiologist that covers this facility - Plenty of Structural work to be done if desired
• Work out of 1 hospital
• Hospital has 3 cath labs, 1 EP lab, and 1 Hybrid lab
• You will be joining a group of 4 General Cardiologists, 1 Interventional Cardiologist, and 3 EPs
  • Currently recruiting another General Cardiologist, Cardiac Imager, and another Interventional Cardiologist

The facility you will cover is a 288-bed hospital that offers a full range of services. It is a dedicated Heart Center and is a Comprehensive Stroke Center. This facility was one of the first hospitals in the area to achieve Atrial Fibrillation Certification and was the first nationally recognized Comprehensive Stroke Center in its County. In addition, it was nationally recognized for quality and safety by earning an “A” rating from the Leapfrog Group.
