International Tax Manager

Join our established team in Charleston, SC, as an International Tax Manager and contribute to our legacy of delivering top-tier international tax services. Salary: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic tax advice on international issues, including M&A, transfer pricing, and corporate restructuring.
  • Manage the preparation and review of U.S. international information reporting forms.
  • Lead quantitative analyses and oversee international tax projects.
  • Enhance client relationships, identify service expansion opportunities, and support business development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state tax laws for a diverse corporate clientele.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving tax regulations and apply this to benefit client strategies.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as necessitated by the evolving needs of the firm and its clients.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BA/BS) required.
  • Must hold CPA certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting focusing on international tax.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements and project teams.
  • Proficient in major global tax compliance and consulting, including transfer pricing and ASC 740.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in foreign tax credits, inbound and outbound tax structures, and international tax compliance.
  • Strong background in FIRPTA, tax treaties, and U.S. withholding tax regulations.
  • Experience with worldwide tax minimization planning and multi-national corporation tax strategies.
