Internal Medicine Physician - Wyomissing, PA

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician to join our well-established medical group in Wyomissing, PA. As a primary care provider, you will be integral to providing exceptional care in an ambulatory setting. Our practice features a support system of 6 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and 2 Physician Assistants, all working within a harmonious, flexible environment with no evening or weekend office hours. This role allows you to quickly establish a patient panel and provides a shared call schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance. Utilization of the EPIC EMR system, which is integrated throughout our hospital, will be crucial to delivering streamlined patient care.

Salary: $250,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting.
  • Collaborate with multiple health professionals to streamline care and assist patients efficiently.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation and patient management processes.
  • Engage in shared call rotation ensuring timely and effective patient availability.
  • Focus on preventive care and patient education to reduce hospital visits and enhance the quality of life for patients.
  • Maintain continuous professional development and adhere to internal guidelines to deliver high-standard medical care.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
  • Authorization to work in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain a PA Medical License.
  • Capability to handle a full patient load effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records, specifically EPIC EMR.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a diverse patient population.
  • Commitment to continuous education and improvement in clinical practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent graduates from an internal medicine residency or fellowship encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team and lead patient care initiatives.
